Marleen earned a combined 10 letters in field hockey(three), soccer (four) and track (three). The Lancers' captainduring the 2007 season, Marleen earned team MVP honors followingthe season. Canillas also nabbed All-South Bay League (SBL) FirstTeam honors as a senior and was named to the All-CIF Second Team.Following her junior campaign, Canillas earned All-SBL Second Teamand the Lancers' Best Midfielder award. Off the field, Marleenearned San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic First Team in2007-08.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Personal:</strong><br>Marleen Canillas was born in San Diego, Calif. Daugher of John andElizabeth Canillas, she is a psychology major who plans on workingin law enforcement upon graduation.
